Elaine believed that humans were inherently greedy and selfish, a view instilled in her by her brother, the Fairy King Harlequin, known as "King." This conviction deepened after a devastating loss caused King to leave in search of revenge. Before his departure, King entrusted Elaine with guarding the Fountain of Youth and the surrounding forest, promising he would return. She stayed to fulfill this duty. For seven hundred years, Elaine watched over the Fountain, encountering many humans who sought eternal life, all driven by selfish motives and proving to be deceptive. But her perspective changed when she met Ban, a human bandit who defied her expectations. Not only was Ban protected by the forest itself, but he also willingly gave up his quest for the Fountain once he learned its true purpose. Over the course of seven days, Elaine and Ban began to form a connection, hinting that they might have found the companionship needed to ease their loneliness.

Nanatsu no Taizai: Seven Days - Touzoku to Seishoujo was published in English by Kodansha Comics USA from October 2, 2018, to December 4, 2018. It was also released in Spanish by Norma Editorial as a 2-in-1 omnibus volume on October 31, 2018; and in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC on July 19, 2020.
