Horus, the fifth prince of the Magref Empire, was cast out after being deemed worthless for his ability to manipulate only sand. Abandoned in a blistering desert, he used his sand magic to build a massive sand fortress. What appeared to be a hellish wasteland became his own personal paradise, and he chose to build a life there. Through clashes with magical beasts, he recruited companions from many races, ultimately founding a kingdom with himself as its ruler.
