Modernity has an answer for everything, including problems that go bump in the night. Of course the government would step in—with a formal classification system, dedicated schools, and licenses for individuals who possess mysterious powers. Any genuine miracle earns its user the designation of Himiko, yet only those who complete full certification may lay claim to the title of god. High schooler Nagi finds herself in dire need of one such deity. Following her grandmother's death, her family's shrine has been left without the divine presence it requires, and her brother—an Himiko so hopelessly reclusive he never leaves his room—shows little promise. But Nagi's hunt for a god may bring her face to face with far more than she anticipated.
