After wearing himself out at the Murim Alliance, the protagonist finally retires and returns to his hometown, aiming to realize his ambition of becoming a sect leader. With only meager savings, he buys a manor that was oddly cheap and rumored to be haunted. Suddenly, an unfamiliar system appears before him. Though taken aback at first, he quickly starts using the system to efficiently recruit disciples and handle the sect's finances and resources. As time passes, with the system's aid, his sect expands swiftly, eventually catching the attention, suspicion, and enmity of other Murim factions.
