After failing the Grade Nine civil service exam four times and facing many other difficulties, Han Maru finally lands a job as a special civil servant in the Ministry of Environment. No more gosiwon living or eating convenience store meals. But the happiness from this achievement doesn't last long. It quickly becomes apparent that the role involves a dangerous, highly classified national mission. When yellow dust arrives, it brings demons—creatures that prey on and devour humans. As a Grade 9 special civil servant, Han Maru is now assigned to fight these demonic enemies. And so begins Han Maru's risky new career in the civil service.
