In Japan, corporate disputes are resolved not through legal contracts but through brutal hand-to-hand combat, where one fighter emerges victorious and another is left defeated. Since the Edo period, the nation’s leading businesses have settled their differences via violent gladiatorial matches. These battles are overseen by a secret organization called the Kengan Association. Ouma Tokita, a martial artist known as "The Ashura," seeks to establish himself as the ultimate fighter. To achieve this, he joins the Kengan fighters under the Nogi Group. Shortly after, Kazuo Yamashita, a disengaged employee at the same company, is appointed as Ouma’s manager. Together, this unlikely duo must navigate the perilous world of Kengan, where the stakes are life and death.
