Doraemon, a robotic cat from the future, travels back to the 20th century with the goal of helping Nobi Nobita, a boy who has trouble with schoolwork, sports, and making friends. Nobita frequently loses at simple games like rock-paper-scissors and feels unsure of himself in many ways. Even with his tough assignment, Doraemon comes equipped with a wide range of imaginative and funny gadgets. Still, Doraemon is not always the most dependable assistant, which gets both of them into all sorts of problems. Together, they create one of the most special and heartwarming friendships ever seen in manga.

The narrative follows Doraemon, a robot cat from the 22nd century, who travels back in time to assist a young boy named Nobita Nobi in overcoming his daily troubles at school. In addition to the regular manga installments, their large-scale journeys to various places are chronicled in the Doraemon Long Stories collection.

This feeling leads 27-year-old Arata Kaizaki to consider an unusual offer. After returning home from his part-time job, Arata is contacted by Ryou Yoake, a representative from the ReLife Research Institute, who presents an experimental program designed to improve his job prospects. The ReLife project plans to change Arata's appearance to that of a 17-year-old, allowing him to experience high school again for one year. After this trial ends, he will receive a job offer, something he has had trouble getting since leaving his previous job. Despite his doubts, Arata agrees to the strange arrangement. But his adult way of thinking and his lack of recent school experience make handling everyday life in high school harder than he expected.

During the Edo period of Japan, the arrival of alien invaders called the Amanto disrupts the country. Despite the samurai's determined resistance, the Shogun eventually recognizes the hopelessness of their fight and surrenders. The resulting peace treaty forbids the carrying of swords nationwide, weakening the traditional samurai way of life. In this changed world, Gintoki Sakata remains committed to his samurai principles, wielding only a wooden sword. With her owner away for an indefinite period, Alpha looks after the café even though customers rarely stop by. She keeps her cheerful attitude and continues to serve with a smile. On her own trips around the area riding a scooter and carrying a camera, Alpha encounters different people and other androids, gathering a collection of memories along the way. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is a calm, slow-moving story centered on Alpha's everyday routines, highlighting how time passes through simple but meaningful moments.

After finishing high school, Hideki Motosuwa moves to Tokyo to attend a cram school, hoping to get into his dream university. Working late nights at a bar leaves him disconnected from new technology, especially humanoid computers called Persocoms. Wanting one for himself, Hideki finds a discarded persocom in a pile of trash. When he turns it on, he discovers this persocom, who can only say "Chii," is unusual. He names her Chii and learns she can think and learn on her own, making her a rare Chobit. Hideki begins helping Chii adjust to human life while trying to solve the mystery of the Chobit series.

Sun Jing has a major crush on Qiu Tong, a graceful and charming blonde girl she first notices at a bus stop. Even though Qiu Tong embodies everything Sun Jing admires, the tomboyish and energetic Sun Jing finds it hard to speak up around her. Eventually, Sun Jing works up the courage to introduce herself, and the two become close friends. While they are only friends for now, Sun Jing is ready to do anything to make Qiu Tong happy, and her genuine feelings may eventually win Qiu Tong over.

Yuri continues to grapple with the death of his wife in a space accident. Intrigued despite her skepticism, Riiko selects the "Nightly Series 01" model and signs up for a three-day free trial. The next day, a full-sized, naked male figure arrives at her home. Riiko follows the activation instructions, bringing the highly realistic robot named Night Tenjou to life with a kiss. Over the course of the trial, Night becomes the ideal boyfriend. However, Gaku returns, revealing that Riiko now owes 100 million yen because she missed the cancellation deadline. As an alternative, she can keep Night and serve as a beta tester to help the company improve their models. Strapped for cash and having grown attached to Night, Riiko must decide how to proceed.

In K-On!, the Light Music Club is intended to be a relaxing and enjoyable space, a concept embraced by the carefree Yui Hirasawa. However, when Yui decides to leave the club, she realizes that her departure would cause it to be disbanded due to a lack of members. This realization makes Yui reconsider her decision. Her fellow club members—the dependable Mio Akiyama, the playful Ritsu Tainaka, and the refined Tsumugi Kotobuki—perform a musical piece to persuade Yui to stay, and their performance rekindles Yui's passion, prompting her to rejoin the Light Music Club. As the clubroom fills with the sounds of their music and laughter, the girls manage to balance their academic duties with their love for music. Though they occasionally engage in playful mischief, their high school days in K-On! become all the more exciting because of it.
