Synopsis

In the year 3394, the solar system has been completely destroyed by an alien race known as the Gauna. Humanity barely clings to existence aboard seed ships—the same vessels used to escape over a thousand years ago. After drifting through space for centuries, the seed ship Sidonia, home to over 500,000 people, faces a renewed threat from the Gauna. The story follows Tanikaze Nagate, a mysterious young man from the ship's deepest recesses, and his companions as they fight back against these colossal creatures while uncovering their true nature in a desperate struggle for humanity's survival. This film compiles all 12 episodes of the first season, featuring new sequences and reworked sound effects.
