Synopsis
Continues the story of Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino
The girls of the Social Welfare Agency are far from ordinary children. They are the broken remnants of human lives, rebuilt with cybernetic enhancements and conditioned by the government to become killers. The oldest among them, Triela, hunts her targets with fierce determination, refusing anything less than complete destruction. Her counterpart in this endless conflict is Pinocchio—a hollow boy raised as an assassin by the FRF, a terrorist organization locked in war with the SWA. Cold and ruthlessly efficient, he wields his sharpened blade as if it were part of his own body. Once human, these shattered individuals have become machines built for murder, holding only faint memories of what it meant to be real—and driven by a brutal need to be the last one left alive.
