Angelica

Summary

Angelica’s origins are steeped in tragedy and corporate greed. When her father’s business faced imminent bankruptcy, he made a desperate decision to profit from the substantial life insurance policy he had placed on his daughter, originally named Angelina. The tragedy unfolded without warning while Angelina was out grocery shopping with her dog, Perro; her father struck her with his vehicle, an incident disguised as an accident but calculated to cash in on her death. Following this event, the SWA selected her as the first girl to undergo their experimental cybernetic augmentation and conditioning procedures. Adopting the name Angelica, she subsequently served as the primary model for refining the child assassin program. However, this pioneering role came at a severe cost, as she was the first subject to suffer from the program’s critical flaws, particularly severe long-term memory loss.
