Summary
Croce, Gioseffo serves as an agent of Section 2 and acts as Henrietta's handler, while also being Jean's younger brother. True to his name, he is a genuinely protective brother who shows deep concern for Henrietta's welfare, going so far as to try and minimize her conditioning. Years ago, he had a younger sister who adored him and hoped to join the Carabinieri to protect him; she bore a resemblance to Henrietta and died in a terrorist attack that likely involved drowning. This tragedy instilled in him a profound appreciation for life and a strong hatred of terrorism.
