Synopsis
Yuuken "Yuu" Enma is a typical Japanese high school student getting ready for a kendo competition. The night before the event, a mysterious black carriage crashes into him. When he wakes up, he finds himself at Night Raven College, a famous school in the magical world of Twisted Wonderland. This academy only admits people with outstanding magical abilities, so it's unclear how someone like Yuu, who has no magic, ended up there. Even though he wants to go home, Yuu realizes it's not an easy task. While the headmaster looks for a solution, Yuu is assigned to do physical work around the campus. But his appearance causes a commotion during the entrance ceremony, catching the interest of Heartslabyul dorm leader Riddle Rosehearts. Yuu soon becomes friends with Heartslabyul first-year students Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade. After a series of events leads to Ace and Deuce facing expulsion, they decide to take on a dangerous mission to repair school property, hoping to win back favor. Yuu joins them on this risky journey. However, getting forgiveness from the strict "Crimson Tyrant" who rules over Heartslabyul is not easy, as their harsh actions might hide a secret plan.
