Higurashi: When They Cry - Outbreak

Synopsis

In 1983, the village of Hinamizawa is placed under quarantine after a mysterious and lethal virus afflicts the small community. Teenager Keiichi Maebara and his friends Mion Sonozaki and Rena Ryuuguu are confused and terrified by the crisis developing around them. As the inhabitants desperately attempt to halt the spread of the disease, some turn to extreme actions. Keiichi and his companions must search for a way to flee the village. Yet, as conflict escalates, the group confronts dangers from both visible and hidden enemies, and it is uncertain if everyone will survive.
