Synopsis

In 2039, a dramatic rise in sea levels plunges humanity into chaos. To make matters worse, mysterious warship-like entities called the Fleet of Fog emerge, disrupting communication and movement between regions. These formidable foes prove invulnerable to conventional weaponry. Humanity's last chance rests with Gunzou Chihaya, the captain of the allied Fog submarine I-401, named Iona. Alongside his crew, Blue Steel, Gunzou is tasked by the Japanese government with safely delivering the Vibration Torpedo Warhead—a potential game-changer in the fight against the Fleet of Fog—to the United States for replication. Despite being caught in this dire situation, Blue Steel remains committed to achieving peace.
