Synopsis
The Daedalus Group, a massive corporation, is being targeted by a small activist faction called the Ghost of Icarus. While treating some of the bombing victims, Black Jack crosses paths with Dr. Kiriko, known as Death Incarnate, who also demands enormous fees from his patients but, rather than saving them, provides them with a painless death. When the activist group seeks the cooperation of both doctors, Black Jack becomes entangled in a cycle of life, death, and betrayal as he strives to save his patients' lives and prevent the outbreak of a biological war that could annihilate humanity.
