Summary

Pinoko serves as the loyal sidekick to the eccentric surgeon Black Jack. She is a unique being originally identified as a Teratogenous Cystoma, a rare form of teratoma that manifested as a parasitic Siamese twin. For eighteen years, she lived within the body of one of Black Jack’s patients before the doctor surgically extracted her and constructed a plastic exo-skeleton to give her a physical form. Following her separation from her twin sister, Pinoko took up residence in Black Jack’s home. She diligently assists with household chores and acts as a surgical assistant during various operations. Although she physically and mentally resembles a five-year-old child, Pinoko often claims to be an eighteen-year-old woman engaged to Black Jack. She frequently provides comic relief through her antics, despite the fact that Black Jack views and treats her strictly as a daughter.
