Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Synopsis

Since his father's death, Tanjirou Kamado has taken on the role of supporting his family, living in poverty on a secluded mountain. Despite their hardships, the Kamado family leads a generally tranquil and joyful existence. One day, Tanjirou ventures to a nearby village to sell charcoal to earn money. As darkness descends on his return journey, he seeks shelter at the house of an unusual stranger, who cautions him about flesh-devouring demons that prowl the forest after sundown. Returning home the next morning, Tanjirou discovers a horrifying sight—his entire family has been brutally murdered. The sole survivor is his sister Nezuko, who has been turned into a blood-craving demon. Consumed by anger and sorrow, Tanjirou swears to avenge his family and protect his remaining kin. Partnering with the enigmatic Demon Slayer Corps, he is determined to eliminate demons and safeguard what remains of his cherished sister's humanity.
