Captain Tsubasa follows a young elementary school boy whose entire existence revolves around his deep passion for soccer. At only eleven years old, Tsubasa Oozora has practiced the sport since early childhood, turning what for others is just a pastime into an all-consuming obsession. To chase his childhood ambitions, Tsubasa relocates with his mother to the famous city of Nankatsu, celebrated for its outstanding elementary school soccer squads. Although he has achieved success before, Nankatsu presents tough obstacles, forcing Tsubasa to rely on all his abilities and raw talent to distinguish himself among his new opponents. On his path, Tsubasa meets both rivals and allies, including the affectionate Sanae Nakazawa and the exceptionally skilled goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi. Both share Tsubasa's unwavering devotion to the game, becoming crucial companions as they work toward their shared objective. Tsubasa's ultimate ambition is to represent Japan in the FIFA World Cup, but reaching that goal demands far more than simply natural ability.

Following the death of his strict Iga ninja mentor and grandfather, Saizou, Kabamaru is taken in by an elderly woman named Ran Ookubo. She claims that Saizou had instructed her to look after his grandson. Together, they relocate to the bustling city of Tokyo, where Kabamaru enjoys local dishes such as yakisoba, ramen, and chow mein while adapting to life at a regular school full of its own peculiarities.

In the closing years of the 21st century, Earth faced the twin crises of overpopulation and dwindling resources. Developing the Moon was proposed as the solution, and its mineral wealth revitalized the planet, bringing widespread prosperity. Yet for those who had left Earth to settle on the lunar surface, realizing that dream came at a great personal cost. What was once humanity's greatest aspiration has turned into a nightmare for those forced to endure it. Shun Nonomura has no idea that he is about to uncover a weapon capable of overthrowing the brutal Monopolice and granting freedom to the lunar colonists. The growing resistance movement quickly adopts both the weapon and its creator into their ranks, as they unite around the mysterious alien monument known as Dallos. Produced by Studio Pierrot in 1983, Dallos is recognized as the world's first original video animation (OVA) series. It also marked the directorial debut of Mamoru Oshii, who would later go on to helm such films as Angel's Egg, the first two Urusei Yatsura movies, and Ghost in the Shell.

Set in the 21st century, the story begins with Earth struggling with severe pollution, leading scientists to create a hydrogen fuel alternative known as "HBT" to replace fossil fuels. During this era, humanity has colonized Mars in search of a new home due to overpopulation. In the year 2050, an alien race called the Inbit invades Earth. Unprepared to resist the Inbit, the planet becomes a wasteland, with only small clusters of survivors remaining across the globe. Many refugees escape on the last available shuttles and flee to the Moon for safety. The Inbit establish their main headquarters in the Great Lakes region of North America, calling it "Reflex Point."

In the year 2058 AD, on the planet Clayad—the third world of the Ypserlon system, located 43 light-years from Earth—an unexpected alien attack forces the inhabitants to flee. Amid the chaos of this evacuation, a group of children becomes separated from their parents but manages to board the training vessel Janous. After facing numerous hardships and suffering casualties, they eventually reach the fourth planet, Belwick. Finding Belwick caught up in its own conflicts, the thirteen children resolve to continue their journey to Earth on their own.

This version reimagines Lewis Carroll's classic story, focusing on Alice as she follows a white rabbit down a hole and arrives in the bizarre realm of Wonderland. There, she encounters a variety of peculiar figures, including the enigmatic Cheshire Cat and the fearsome Queen of Hearts.

This story belongs to the "The Tiger Books" collection. It centers on a young boy who encounters a lonely umbrella ghost wearing Geta. The child promises to give the ghost a set of rain boots in exchange for three wishes. Over the years, the boy forgets about this agreement. Eventually, remembering the ghost, he hurries back to the bridge in his hometown where he first met the Rain Boy. This warm, soft fantasy examines the connection between a kindhearted ghost and a forgotten promise.

Upon the arrival of an alien force at the base of Mont Blanc, Earth's armies spring into action to defend their planet. In preparation for this invasion, Colonel Takagi established the Dorvack Team equipped with the extraordinary transforming Variable Machines, yet the military leadership instead places its trust in infantry clad in powered armor. Despite this, the young pilots Masato, Louie, and Pierre are determined to demonstrate their capabilities. However, as the Dorvack Team advances through the ranks, they repeatedly discover that actual combat rarely resembles the battles depicted in movies.

In a Chinese valley untouched by human presence resides a small panda named Tao Tao. Alongside his companions—Kiki the monkey, Puhu the squirrel, and Poe the hare—he spends his days playing throughout the forest.

In a remote area of Hokkaido, Japan, a young boy finds a fawn whose mother was struck by a car, and he tries to raise it on his own.

Within the series "Manga Aesop Monogatari," a lively young boy named Aesop is magically whisked away to a strange world inhabited by fantastic beings, including fairies and talking donkeys. Determined to find his way home, he begins a journey, crossing paths with many iconic characters from well-known fables along the way. Each new encounter brings its own obstacles, teaching Aesop valuable lessons as he travels.

This animation was made for Gebocon I, a convention hosted by Fanroad magazine, which was an anime, manga, and doujin publication from the 1980s and 1990s. It includes the characters Takko-chan (the mascot of Fanroad magazine) and Kamonohashi.
