Hajime no Ippo

In "Hajime no Ippo: Fighting Spirit!," Makunouchi Ippo is a 16-year-old high school student who spends his days helping his mother run their family business, leaving him with little free time and making him a target for bullies. When one such bullying incident occurs, a boxer named Mamoru Takamura steps in to save Ippo and introduces him to the Kamogawa Boxing Gym. This encounter becomes a turning point as Ippo discovers an unexpected talent for boxing and decides to pursue a career as a professional. Despite Mamoru's doubts about Ippo's dedication, Ippo takes on a difficult challenge set before him and throws himself into intense training. Along the way, Ippo learns what true strength really means, forms new friendships, and faces tough opponents.
