During his visit to Seidou, Sawamura unexpectedly faces off against one of their batters, leading him to meet Kazuya Miyuki, a catcher who can enhance Sawamura's pitching skills. This encounter shifts Sawamura's initial hesitation about moving to Tokyo. Despite lingering guilt over leaving his old friends, they encourage him to seize the opportunity and join Seidou. With renewed determination, Sawamura embarks on a challenging journey to become Seidou's ace pitcher and reach nationals, honoring the legacy of his former school.
