Tsukasa Akeuraji did not originally intend to become an ice dancer; his true ambition was to excel in solo figure skating. After being told he had started too late for solo competition, he settled into the role of an ice dancer, though it fell short of his original dreams. Over time, he resigned himself to this path. That changed when he met a young girl who reflected his own past passion and determination. Inori Yuitsuka, a fifth-grader with a burning desire to skate, practiced in secret before coming to Tsukasa's rink with her mother seeking training. Despite Inori's enthusiasm, many doubted her potential, claiming she had started too late and would never match the skills of other skaters. Driven by a renewed sense of purpose and a wish to spare Inori the same discouragement he faced, Tsukasa decides to coach her, committing to transform Inori into a medal-winning skater.
