Summary

This squat, human-sized robot originally served in the EDF's hospital before requesting to join the Yamato crew, convinced that it was the only place he could truly prove his worth. Analyzer possesses a wide array of physical and sensory abilities, including the power to extend his arms, separate into independently moving pieces, lift and throw enemy tanks, withstand forcefields, and detect various forms of energy. Despite these impressive capabilities, he struggles with self-control, frequently engaging in sexually harassing behavior toward Yuki. He is genuinely in love with her, but when she cannot return his feelings, he accepts a platonic friendship instead. Often acting as a wisecracker and forming a comedic double-act with Dr. Sado, Analyzer is even capable of becoming intoxicated, which nearly leads to disaster on one occasion. Yuki refers to him as a pervert or a "stupid pervert robot" after he reveals her underwear, an action that makes her furious. By the year 2199, Analyzer functions as an independent processor within Yamato's system and has not yet established any relationship with Yuki.
