Summary

Renzou Shima is a fifteen-year-old boy with naturally black hair that he dyes pink, brown eyes, and a height of 176 cm. He is the fifth and youngest son in his family, a position he welcomes because it means he has fewer responsibilities than his older brothers. His eldest brother, Juuzou, has labeled him the pervert of the Shima siblings. Renzou is defined by a carefree demeanor that masks a fear of bugs, yet he is undeniably loyal to his childhood friends, Bon and Konekomaru. The three grew up together in Kyoto at the temple where Renzou was born. He is known for his boldness, being the first person to befriend Rin after the revelation of the blue flames, which highlights his friendly nature. Renzou harbors a significant obsession with women, often spending his days off dating them and enjoying pastimes like smiling, lying, and feigning politeness. He even admits to buying dirty magazines even when a female cashier is present. He plans to become a Meister in Aria and carries a Khakkhara staff, known as K'rik, which is shared by him and his brothers.
