青の祓魔師 京都不浄王篇
Synopsis
Continues the story of Blue Exorcist
In a reality where the human world of Assiah and the demon realm of Gehenna remain distinct, crossing between them is only possible through possession. Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, seeks to conquer Assiah but lacks a suitable host. To realize this ambition, he sends his own son to grow until he becomes a vessel strong enough to contain him. "Blue Exorcist" centers on Rin Okumura, a teenager who appears ordinary and occasionally rowdy. His life shifts dramatically when demons attack him, revealing his true identity as Satan's son, destined to return to Gehenna and aid his father in the conquest of Assiah. Refusing to ally with his father, Rin resolves to become an exorcist to defend Assiah, fighting alongside his brother Yukio.
In this installment
At True Cross Academy, the ExWire students are left reeling from the revelation that their classmate, Rin Okumura, is the son of Satan. Their focus soon turns to a more immediate danger: the left eye of the Impure King, a formidable demon, has been stolen from the school's Deep Keep. Following a second theft attempt targeting the right eye in Kyoto, Rin and his fellow ExWires are dispatched to the city to investigate the Impure King and expose the thief's motives. While the team must rely on close cooperation for this mission, Rin finds himself drifting away from his friends. He undertakes special training to master his dark powers in an effort to close this growing distance. Upon reaching Kyoto, the right eye is stolen once more, exposing a traitor within their ranks and compelling them to summon all their strength to face the ensuing crisis.
