Summary

Mephisto Pheles serves as both the Chairman of True Cross Academy and an Exorcist. With a lifespan spanning over a millennium and a birthday on August 28, he stands at 195 cm tall with purple hair and green eyes. Despite his imposing stature, he requires only an average of one hour of sleep per night. He harbors a deep appreciation for subcultures, enjoying movies, manga, anime, video games, music, and toys, while his diet favors junk food and sweets. He is drawn to temptresses, devilish or elegant beauties, and girls with tragic histories. The son of Satan and brother to the Earth King, Amaimon, Mephisto’s name is a clear pun on Mephistopheles. He possesses the peculiar ability to transform into a small dog by counting to three in German. Although his full power remains unshown, he holds the rank of Honorary Knight, just below a Paladin. After Fujimoto’s death, he was ordered to eliminate Rin but instead accepted the boy’s proposal to become an Exorcist, enrolling him in True Cross Academy. He has also been responsible for permitting several high-class demons onto the school grounds.
