Synopsis
The global rise in demonic activity, driven by the Illuminati’s malevolent actions, forces the Vatican Headquarters to move up the schedule for the annual Exorcist Certification Exam, aiming to recruit more exorcists. Arriving directly from the Vatican, Lewin "Lightning" Light, one of the most formidable exorcists, comes to True Cross Academy to help prepare the students for the exam. His exceptional skill and ease in performing exorcisms reignite Ryuuji "Bon" Suguro’s motivation, which had previously waned, and unexpectedly, Lewin takes Bon on as an apprentice. Amid the escalating crisis, Rin and Yukio Okumura, twin brothers, are sent to search for the missing exorcist Shura Kirigakure. Shura is believed to be bound by an ancient contract with a powerful, immortal demon, hiding deep within the treacherous, snow-covered mountains of Aomori Prefecture.
