Synopsis
With the annual festival at True Cross Academy drawing near, exwires and exorcists work together to prevent any demons from disrupting the celebrations. Rin Okumura is assigned to handle the soul-eating demon called the Phantom Train, accompanied by his brother Yukio and their friend Shiemi Moriyama. During their mission, the Phantom Train malfunctions and causes chaos throughout True Cross Academy. In the midst of the turmoil, Rin meets a childlike demon he names Usamaro, and a special bond forms between them. However, Usamaro's powers may turn out to be more dangerous than Rin initially realizes.
Background
On July 3, 2013, Ao no Exorcist Movie was released on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan. Aniplex of America released the film in North America on December 17, 2013 on DVD as well as in a limited edition Blu-ray box set, which contains exclusive bonus content.
