Summary
Hikozaemon Tokugawa is the 62-year-old chief engineer aboard the Yamato, a position he holds as an old comrade of Juzo Okita. Despite having a beloved grandchild waiting for him on Earth, he remains steadfast in his duty. His resolve proves fatal in the final episode of the second season, as he suffocates when fumes fill the engine room. His Japanese name is derived from the shougun Tokugawa Ieyasu.
