Summary

Sadaharu is a towering inugami who appears as a massive dog, standing taller than most humans even when crouched. Weighing 300 kg and measuring 170 cm in height, this Pisces creature was originally delivered to Gintoki’s apartment in a box labeled "To Mr. Freelancer." While he has a habit of chomping on anything smaller than himself, including Gintoki and others, Kagura is the only one capable of controlling him thanks to her immense strength, although he does bite her occasionally. Initially dangerous upon arrival, Sadaharu has grown tame over time and frequently assists the main cast. Kagura named him after her first pet, a rabbit she accidentally killed during a nightmare, though he was originally owned by a pair of miko sisters who referred to him as Kamiko. In recent developments, Sadaharu has won the approval of a yakuza boss to date his canine companion, a relationship Sadaharu has deeply fallen for.
