Summary

Absol is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon characterized by a predominantly white coat accented with dark blue markings. It features a thick ruff around its neck and chest, along with a head tuft topped by a single blue-black oval. The curvature of its white facial fur, combined with the positioning of its horn and dark patches, gives its face a resemblance to the wu wei symbol. Possessing a humanoid face with almond-shaped red eyes, Absol has a scythe-like tail and a sickle-shaped horn on the side of its head. Its broad feet bear three claws each, while dewclaw-like spikes extend from the heels of its hind legs and the elbows of its front legs. Absol moves with a pacing gait similar to that of a bear. Residing in remote mountains far from civilization, Absol rarely descends from its alpine habitat. It uses its horn to detect subtle changes in the sky and land, allowing it to predict impending disasters and warn humans. Beyond divination, the horn can be extended for combat, and Absol is known to shield fields from natural calamities. Tragically, this protective nature often leads to Absol being blamed for the disasters, a superstition rooted in ancient hatred toward the species, particularly among the elderly. Despite its reputation as a bringer of doom, its predictive abilities attract interest. Absol moves with the speed of wind and can live up to 100 years. According to the Sleep Style Dex, its horn’s powers remain active during sleep, enabling it to detect danger even when unconscious. Absol has two Mega Evolved forms: Mega Absol and Mega Absol Z. In its Mega Absol form, its fur becomes longer, and increased energy causes the mane fur to stand on end, creating the appearance of wings. Spikes on its heels and elbows enlarge, and the fur in these areas lengthens. The sickle-shaped horn widens into a shape reminiscent of the Mega Evolution symbol, accompanied by a smaller secondary horn on the opposite side. The tail takes on a saw-like shape, and the forehead oval transforms into a rounded triangle. Mega Absol emits a terrifying aura that can kill the faint of heart, directing it by beating its non-functional wings. Although it dislikes fighting and the form itself, Mega Absol can generate wind attacks and dark shockwaves. Mega Absol Z features white fur that turns dark blue, with longer fur on the left side of its head covering the left eye. Its previously dark blue skin shifts to a grey-blue hue. The forehead marking widens into a downward-pointing rounded triangle, and the horn becomes more angular and z-shaped. Other features, including the additional horn, leg spikes, and tail, become more angular, while its claws appear sharper and straighter. Three small red-tipped fur tufts appear behind the neck ruff on the left. On the right side, a large dark blue and red fur tuft can be manipulated into claw-like shapes. Mega Absol Z uses these sharp fur claws to defeat foes in a single blow, sparing them prolonged suffering as an act of kindness.
