Gilgamesh

Summary

Standing at 182 cm and weighing 68 kg, this arrogant, selfish, and enigmatic Archer-class Servant is clad in ornate golden armor. He displays a deep familiarity with Fuyuki City and claims a past connection with Saber. His preferences are self-centered, favoring himself and power while despising snakes. When challenged with the notion that "All the evils in the world" could stain him, he famously retorts, "'All the evils in the world'? Bring thrice as much if you want to stain me!" Gilgamesh is a transcendent being born from the union of Lugalbanda, the King of Uruk, and the goddess Rimat-Ninsun. Ruling the Sumerian city-state of Uruk five thousand years ago, he was two-thirds god and one-third human, a despot who believed himself invincible and unmatched by any other. His legend, recorded in the oldest epic poem, depicts him as a destined hero who faced challenges alongside his best friend Enkidu. As the King of Heroes, he is not merely a hero who is a king, but the king over all heroes. Being mankind's oldest hero and the model for all myths, his story is reflected in every culture's mythology. Consequently, his Gate of Babylon possesses the Noble Phantasms of all heroes, distinguishing him from other titled kings like the King of Knights or the King of Conquerors. In Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA☆ILLYA, he serves as the Heroic Spirit sealed within the eighth Class Card. Due to Illya separating him from his shadow form during his incarnation, he manifests as a younger, more easygoing version of himself. While initially an adversary, he quickly becomes an ally to achieve his objectives and requests that Illya address him as Gil-kun.
