Summary

Born on December 20 under the Sagittarius sign, Hitsugaya Toushirou stands at a petite 133 cm and weighs 28 kg, with distinctive white hair and turquoise eyes. Hailing from District 1 of Rukongai, known as Junrinan, he was raised alongside an elderly woman believed to be his grandmother and his childhood friend Momo Hinamori. During their youth, Hitsugaya was somewhat of a brat who enjoyed eating watermelons and teasing Momo, whom he affectionately called "Bed-wetter Momo" in return for her nickname for him, "Shiro-chan." Despite his small stature and younger age, he felt a strong urge to protect her, and the two shared a close bond. He also befriended Jidanbou, the West Gate Keeper, and taught him the city rules. Hitsugaya’s natural talent allowed him to enter the Shinigami institute shortly after Hinamori, despite his young age. Momo continued to call him "Shiro-chan" out of habit, believing she needed to protect him, but she switched to "Hitsugaya-kun" only after he achieved the initial release of his Zanpakutou and was officially recognized as a Shinigami. His exceptional abilities led him to become the youngest Captain in the Gotei 13, commanding Squad 10 with his Zanpakutou, Hyourinmaru. His Shikai command is "Souten ni zase, Hyorinmaru!" while his Bankai command is "Daiguren Hyorinmaru!" Outside of his duties, he has a fondness for sweet nattō but has a strong dislike for the sun and heat.
