In the eerie, desolate world of Tenshi no Tamago, normal life has vanished. 10,000 years into the future, the world has transformed into a vastly different realm. Monsters freely roam the land, and while people possess advanced technology like high-powered weapons and cybernetic horses, they live a modest existence more reminiscent of centuries past. The narrative centers on a small hamlet suffering from monster attacks and living under the shadow of Count Magnus Lee, a powerful vampire lord who has ruled for millennia. When a young girl is bitten by the Count and chosen as his current plaything, she seeks the help of a quiet, wandering stranger named D. It so happens that D is one of the world's finest vampire hunters, and he takes it upon himself to cut through Magnus Lee's many minions and put an end to the Count's reign.

Armed with clues Tarouza kept secret, Jiro, accompanied by the female ninja Oyuki and a slave named Sam, travels to Russia and America to hunt for the treasure, hoping to use it to exact revenge on Tenkai.
