Synopsis

In "World's Greatest First Love," Ritsu Onodera, a proud literary editor tired of being resented at work because of his father's influence, leaves his family's publishing company and joins Marukawa Publishing to build his own reputation. He is surprised to find himself hired as a rookie manga editor in the fast-paced Emerald division. There, he meets Masamune Takano, the notoriously strict editor-in-chief known for his relentless pursuit of success. Ritsu soon realizes that Takano was his first love from high school, a relationship that ended painfully and left Ritsu cautious about romantic involvement.
