Summary
Takano Masamune, formerly known as Saga Masamune prior to his parents' divorce during high school, was born on December 24. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Emerald department at Marukawa Publishing, earning the nickname "the Capable" for his competence. He and Ritsu shared a brief romantic relationship in high school that ended due to a misunderstanding where both parties believed the other was at fault. The breakup, compounded by family troubles and other personal struggles, triggered a breakdown that left him harboring unrequited love for Ritsu. Upon realizing their past connection, he vows to make Ritsu fall in love with him again, a promise that is met with Ritsu's disdain.
