In the second event of the MFG tournament, held at the notoriously difficult Lake Ashinoko circuit, Kanata Katagiri’s Toyota 86 GT, despite lacking horsepower, secures a competitive position through strategic modifications. On the final day, a sudden downpour worsens track conditions, challenging all racers. Leveraging his exceptional training and unique background, Kanata impressively surges ahead with daring maneuvers. However, his path to victory is fraught with challenges, including facing off against Michael Beckenbauer, the reigning champion, and Kouki Sawatari, holder of the Lake Ashinoko record. Even if Kanata manages to catch up to the frontrunners, he must be wary, as those trailing him are poised to capitalize on any mistake he makes.
