Synopsis

During a summer camp, fifteen children discover a hidden cave near the beach while spending time together. Inside the cave, they find a strange room where they meet Kokopelli, a mysterious figure. He offers them a game that involves taking turns piloting a giant robot to protect Earth from alien threats. Believing it to be a harmless simulation, all but one child agree and sign a contract. That night, the giant robot appears in reality, and the children are transported into its cockpit. There, they find Kokopelli, who engages in battle with another robotic being that suddenly appears. After their victory, Kokopelli tries to apologize, but the children are returned to the ground among the wreckage before he can finish. After recovering from the shock of the real fight, the robot vanishes, leaving the children scared and confused. What seemed like a simple game soon reveals the high stakes involved and how their fates become tied to the choices they must now make.
