Kako, Isao
Summary
Isao Kako was a spoiled, self-centered coward plagued by a severe inferiority complex. To avoid becoming the target of bullies, he served as an errand boy for a group of aggressors, while his indulgent parents allowed him to escape consequences for his actions, much to the annoyance of his older sister. His only supposed friend was Kirie, a classmate whom Kako relentlessly bossed around to boost his own ego, relying on her silence to tolerate the abuse. He specifically coerced Kirie into accompanying him to nature school for this psychological benefit. At the school, Kako developed a strong crush on Chizu. Initially excited about joining the game and hoping his piloting of Zearth would bring him fame, he suffered a mental breakdown upon discovering the cost of piloting and retreated to hide in his room.
