Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island

Synopsis

Following a failed covert mission, Mobile Suit pilot Amuro Ray and his fellow soldiers become stranded on a remote island. Their battalion had been dispatched to the Island of No Return with orders to clear out all enemy presence, but instead they find a group of children and are attacked by an enemy mecha. Amuro now must find a way for everyone to escape this mysterious land, a task that includes encountering an unusual man named Cucuruz Doan. Revealed during the "Dai 2-kai Gundam Conference" event, this film is described as a retelling of the fifteenth episode of the original Mobile Suit Gundam television anime. That episode itself was omitted from English-language releases of the series.
