Summary

Commander Johann Abraham Revil stands as one of the Earth Federation’s premier Space Force leaders. Although he is frequently referenced throughout the narrative, he does not appear in person until the second half of the series. Renowned for his bravery and the deep respect he earns from his soldiers, Revil is known for joining them directly on the front lines, even if he fights from the bridge of a Magellan-class battleship. This demeanor endears him to the protagonists of the original Gundam anime, particularly the crew of the White Base, who view him as a supportive patron concerned with their unit’s welfare. In the original series and numerous related games, Revil exhibits Newtype abilities, marking him as one of the oldest individuals ever recognized with such powers. He is also distinguished as one of the few Earth Federation commanders portrayed with genuine sympathy.
