Continues the story of World Trigger 2nd Season
After turning back the Aftokrator invasion, the Border Defense Agency begins preparations for an expedition into the Neighbor dimension, with only A-rank teams eligible to take part. Osamu Mikumo and Tamakoma-2 push forward through the B-rank battles, aiming to raise their standing and earn a place in the upcoming mission. At the same time, a new Neighbor vessel arrives at Border Headquarters. The agency quickly mobilizes its forces, recognizing the threat is directed at the Border Expedition Ship. But with many teams caught up in the B-rank wars, the defense falls into disarray. The renewed Neighbor attack places the crucial expedition ship's safety in jeopardy.

In the Border Defense Agency's headquarters, the B-Rank Wars carry on with fierce clashes between teams competing for a place in the upcoming Away Mission. Osamu Mikumo and his Tamakoma-2 unit have managed to hold their own so far, but the trials ahead demand they exceed their current capabilities. As a highly skilled new member joins the group, they start intense training and crafting fresh tactics. However, in the midst of these preparations, a fierce argument erupts inside the team, threatening to ruin their chance to journey to the Neighbor's world.
