Synopsis

In this special episode, originally unaired and later added to the Blu-ray box set, Yuusaku shows up at school carrying an elaborate bento, making Ryuuji feel his own cooking skills are lacking. Driven by a desire to outdo Yuusaku's work, Ryuuji gets intensely competitive, going so far as to bring a rice cooker to school. But after Taiga gives him some salty onigiri, Ryuuji realizes that a bento's true value isn't just in its taste but in the feelings put into making it.
