Summary
Yuri serves as the twenty-nine-year-old homeroom teacher for Ryūji’s class, with her thirtieth birthday arriving in the fifth volume of the light novels. She prefers to move at her own pace and often feels intimidated by Taiga’s assertive manner of speaking. Because her twenties are nearing their end, Yuri is eager to find a partner and makes an effort to dress stylishly to improve her chances of entering a relationship. However, after turning thirty without marrying, she develops a depressed and twisted personality, a state worsened by Taiga’s constant reminders of her single status. Despite these personal struggles, she remains deeply concerned with her students’ well-being and academic performance, going to great lengths to support them, such as forbidding Haruta from participating in Christmas activities to force him to focus on his exam preparation.
