Synopsis

Tomoya Okazaki, a jaded high schooler whose father’s alcoholism and neglect stem from a childhood tragedy, drifts through life with an indifferent attitude. His outlook starts to change when he encounters Nagisa Furukawa, an unusual and enigmatic girl who offers him a simple gesture of kindness—one he at first brushes off. Yet repeated meetings gradually erode his walls, forging a sincere friendship between them. Learning of Nagisa’s ambition to revive the school’s Drama Club, Tomoya decides to abandon his apathetic habits and throws his full support behind her dream. What begins as a mere bond of friendship holds the possibility of blossoming into a deep, transformative relationship. Together they face numerous trials and hurdles, each experience drawing them closer to grasping life’s complexities and their own roles within it.
