Summary
Hiroya Okuyama serves as the number one driver for Team Spiral, where he goes by the alias Zero 1. Like Ikeda, he is a staunch believer in the Zero Theory, which leads to his frustration when the fog prevents him from utilizing his vehicle's full capabilities. In contrast to Ikeda, Okuyama displays a highly arrogant demeanor and possesses immense confidence in his driving skills. He is also notably dismissive, refusing to offer a greeting when he first encounters Project D. During a race, he was defeated by Takumi Fujiwara after Takumi strategically left him behind at the first hairpin. In the MF Ghost timeline, Okuyama operates the Spiral Zero Autoshop tuning shop and is responsible for tuning vehicles such as Kanata’s 86 and Aiba’s R35.
