GARRACK x Ghost in the Shell Tachikoma Raden Watch Blends Craft and Cyberpunk

Watch enthusiasts and Ghost in the Shell THE GHOST IN THE SHELL fans have a new way to celebrate the iconic AI tank. GARRACK has released details on a limited mechanical watch that showcases the Tachikoma rendered in handcrafted raden, Japan's traditional mother-of-pearl inlay technique.
Artisans painstakingly cut and layer iridescent abalone shell fragments to form the character's image on the dial, incorporating series-accurate details such as wheel motifs for the indices and arm-inspired hands. An open-heart design at the arm position evokes the manipulator in action, while the see-through caseback displays the anime logo.
The 42mm stainless steel piece uses a Japanese Miyota automatic movement, leather strap, and 5 ATM water resistance. It retails for 79,200 yen and comes with a special box. Reservations open July 17 for a July 31 release.
This premium collab highlights how anime merch continues to evolve, merging pop culture icons with living heritage crafts in pieces that feel both futuristic and timeless.
