Mysterious, unknowable creatures alien to the laws of nature—known only to some and feared by others—"Mushi" lie behind many of life's strange phenomena. Long ago, a Mushi of terrifying power threatened to extinguish all life. The Minai clan of Mushishi were born from those who stopped this malevolent force, their members bound by duty to serve as retainers to the Karibusa family, within whom the Mushi remains sealed. The Mushishi Ginko receives a job request from Tanyuu Karibusa: to oversee the work of the Minai clan head, Kumado Minai, in investigating an abandoned village where dead wood and even houses spring back to life as flourishing plants. Though the Minai clan are oddly ruthless among Mushishi, even more peculiar is their widespread dull character, with little appreciation for beauty or sentiment. Tanyuu believes there is more to this trend than meets the eye. Ginko intends to satisfy her curiosity as he follows Kumado into a "Path of Thorns," a place where Mushi flow from their own strange sources into the world of the living. Rare and deadly varieties of Mushi lurk in these depths, along with the secret nature of the Minai clan's resolve to their ancient task.

As the story of Rozen Maiden draws to a close, a new story begins in Rozen Maiden: Träumend. Shinku and the other sentient dolls from the Rozen Maiden collection continue their daily life at Jun Sakurada's residence. Having grown accustomed to his role as Shinku's partner in the perilous Alice Game, Jun overcomes his previous anxieties and gets ready to go back to school. Even though Shinku and the other dolls spend their days leisurely in the comfort of Jun's home, dark times approach with the arrival of a new adversary: Barasuishou, the seventh Rozen Maiden. However, Barasuishou remains an enigma even to her fellow dolls, none of whom had ever seen her before. Shinku interprets this as an indication that the Alice Game is nearing its conclusion, meaning the dolls will soon be compelled to battle each other. Troubled by the impending conflict and nightmares about another doll, Shinku starts to distance herself from the others. If she hopes to achieve victory, it will demand a heavy price—the lives of her sisters.

Nanoha Takamachi is an ordinary third-grade student who enjoys time with her family and friends. She rescues a wounded ferret that she had seen in a dream the night before. Nanoha senses a sadness in Fate's eyes, but Fate refuses to communicate. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha is a story about the clash of emotions when goals collide.

A dozen millennia after the events of Genesis Aquarion, humanity dwells on the star Vega, constantly threatened by trans-dimensional raiders called Abductors. These enemies come from Altair, Vega’s sister star, and attack Vega to steal human lives. In response, the organization Neo-DEAVA was created to fight the Abductors. In the Ueno district of Tokyo, the Colors operate as a trio dedicated to protecting the city through good deeds and community service—or so they imagine. In truth, they are merely three young girls: the timid Yui Akamatsu, the boisterous Sacchan, and the video game–obsessed Kotoha, who spend their days playing pretend and exploring the neighborhood. Shinya Kougami continues his travels through the Southeast Asian Union (SEAUn), far from the surveillance of the Sibyl System in Japan. While crossing the Tibet-Himalayan Alliance Kingdom, he meets Guillermo Garcia—the commander of a paramilitary organization working to unify the region's various factions and bring peace to the war-torn country. Cautious about joining another mercenary group, Kougami declines Garcia's offer but accepts a ride to the nearby Tibetan capital with one of Garcia's men. The narrative centers on Maya, the daughter of the former headmaster of Waldstein Academy, and a time-traveling agent named Fumiaki Uchida. In 2012, aliens invaded the world, prompting time travelers to be sent back to 1999 with the mission of locating and destroying the Nostradamus Key—an object foretold by Nostradamus's prophecy to trigger the apocalypse. The story then shifts to 1999, where Maya returns to the Academy intending to dismantle it by taking over her late father's position as principal. Her plan is disrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns about the impending catastrophe. Despite her distrust of Fumiaki, they form an alliance to search for the Nostradamus Key. To locate the Nostradamus Key, time agents are given specially designed cell phones. When a user encounters an object of interest, they think about destroying it and take a photo. If the resulting image shows a peaceful world, the object is the Nostradamus Key; if it shows destruction, the object is not the key. Using this phone, Maya and Fumiaki investigate occult phenomena as they arise in the town.
