Seven Japanese high school students, celebrated globally for their exceptional abilities, survive a plane crash and awaken in the medieval fantasy realm of Freyjagard. This world is structured around feudal society, where the byuma, a race possessing animal traits and immense physical power, coexist with the hyuma, who carry a slight potential for magic. After being rescued by Winona, a byuma warrior, and her adopted elven daughter Lyrule, the group vows to repay the kindness of Elm Village’s residents by utilizing their superior knowledge and skills, while simultaneously seeking a means to return to their original world.
Tsukasa Mikogami, the Prime Minister of Japan, serves as the leader of these prodigies. He coordinates their activities within Freyjagard, aiming to secure the intelligence and resources required to fulfill their objectives. Suspecting a link between their predicament and an ancient prophecy concerning seven heroes from another world who vanquished a malevolent dragon, Tsukasa encourages the group to study the local culture and hunt for clues pointing toward Earth. However, he issues a strict directive: they must proceed with caution and avoid exerting themselves fully, ensuring that their extraordinary capabilities do not inadvertently destroy the world they inhabit.
