Synopsis
After an earthquake demolishes the newly-built house where she lives, third-year high school student Kotoko Aihara—a low-achieving, clumsy, and perpetually troublesome girl—must move in with Naoki Irie, the smartest student at her school and possibly in all of Japan. Kotoko is no stranger to Irie-kun; unfortunately, a single love letter she once attempted to hand him has already sealed her fate in his eyes. With quirky friends and a meddlesome mother adding to the chaos, Kotoko's chances of winning the older Irie boy's heart may seem nonexistent. Still, she remains optimistic, believing that living under the same roof has brought her unattainable crush on the genius since her first year of high school closer than ever.
