Synopsis

Continues the story of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc

After the intense battles with the Upper Rank Demons, the Ubuyashiki family prepares for a final confrontation against Muzan Kibutsuji's demon forces. To strengthen the Demon Slayer Corps for this ultimate battle, the family organizes a specialized training camp led by the surviving Hashira, the Corps' elite warriors. Each Hashira creates a unique training program designed to improve both their own distinctive abilities and those of the regular Demon Slayers. At the heart of the conflict, Tanjirou Kamado, still recovering from his recent fight, commits himself to the intense training alongside the Hashira. Meanwhile, his half-demon sister Nezuko is examined by experts such as Shinobu Kochou. Tanjirou's objective is to master every skill the Hashira offer, ensuring he is fully prepared for the coming war. His determination remains unwavering: to be the one who ends Muzan's reign of terror.

In this installment

This is the first part of a theatrical trilogy adapting the Infinity Castle Arc. Tanjiro Kamado is a boy who joined the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization dedicated to hunting demons, after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into one. As he grew stronger and deepened his friendships and bonds with fellow Corps members, Tanjiro fought many demons alongside his comrades Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira. Along the way, his journey led him to fight alongside the Demon Slayer Corps' highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira—including Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku aboard the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village. While the Demon Slayer Corps members and Hashira engaged in a group strength training program called the Hashira Training, preparing for the coming battle against the demons, Muzan Kibutsuji appeared at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rushed to headquarters but were plunged into a deep descent into a mysterious space by Muzan Kibutsuji's hands. The destination where Tanjiro and the Demon Slayer Corps fell was the demons' stronghold—the Infinity Castle. And so, the stage was set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignited.
